JAMES BOURRET
A Bay Area native, James Bourret has practiced independently or in partnership since 1995, first in the San Francisco Bay Area and now in Ketchum, Idaho. As a design architect with several well known San Francisco firms, he was involved in such notable projects as the rehabilitation of Hills Brothers Coffee into Hills Plaza, the new lobby and plaza of 525 Market Street and award winning housing for graduate students at Stanford University. His award winning residential work has led him to be recognized as a leading edge designer of fine quality, innovative residences and remodels, with the experience, technical ability, and commitment to detail to bring ideas to reality. His houses are planned with great sensitivity to the owners lives and needs, and the local context and environment. Recent work has included many fine quality residences, remodels, and an historical restoration.
Jamie has three children and lives in Ketchum, Idaho with his wife Lucy. Passions/pastimes are photography and all forms of mountain recreation with his family.
